I stood at the water’s edge this morning, the cold water shocking my system. The waves hit my feet again and again, as I slowly sunk into the frigid sand. The sun warmed the rest of me. The therapy of salt air, sunshine, and the constancy of the ocean are what I needed today – as each day turns into another – without you. With or without you, I wait.
